Already, we have in memory Marc Esposito traveling from France to present "Toute la Beauté du Monde" (All the beauty of the world") beautifully shot in Bali and "Men's heart" (Le Coeur des Hommes nr 2). Polish director, Lech Majewski also joined to introduce his love story based on the work of Jerome Bosch: "Garden of the Earthly delights" and Israeli filmmaker Amir Manor and other talented students from the Tel Aviv University presented their short films for the closing evening: Zohar, Poster and "Reds" which won the prize of the best dramatic short film at the Jerusalem film festival. Added to this selection, films from Spain, Italy, Kurdistan, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Slovenia were participating to the selection of Romance in a Can 2008.
Preparing for next year: 20 films from France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Russia, Israel, Poland, Portugal, Ireland, Belgium, Serbia, and Switzerland will be shown at prestigious locations in 2009: the Raleigh Hotel in Miami Beach for the first week end of February 6-7-8, the Miami Beach Cinematheque, the Miami Beach Highschool new auditorium, the Intracoastal Cinema, the Alliance Française-Miami, FIU South Campus, and the closing nights at the Barnacle State Park will make this festival more attractive and enjoyable for our international audience!
